The Type Director's Club Calendar
The Type Directors Club of New York studies typography in both the field of design and in the environment. This calendar represents both and allows the owner of the calendar to choose how the type relates to their own everyday process. Built with preserved pine and rose wood cubes, the six sided objects have a different typographic or structural element on each side. Be it a photograph of type in the environment, a specific typeface, a holiday, the lunar cycle, or just a color to bring out the day, each side can be manipulated and rotated depending on the user. Complete with a slide out cheat sheet and a Mondrian style of thinking this linear calendar moves with the months and the user.
